Book a meeting with Qam at TWC 2026 to talk governance, quality improvement, pilots, and vendor partnerships in Ontario.
Book a MeetingTogether We Care is Canada’s largest gathering of leaders from long-term care and retirement living. I will be attending to meet operators, sector partners, and vendors focused on practical improvements in governance, quality, and compliance.
Ontario operators are under pressure to improve quality, strengthen governance, and demonstrate evidence of follow-through, while budgets remain tight. This abstract introduces a practical model to accelerate innovation without waiting for complex grant cycles: a structured “innovation fund” approach where a small portion of participating vendor fees is reinvested into each home or operator group’s improvement priorities.
The model focuses on transparency, governance, and measurable outcomes. Funds can support pilots, training, workflow redesign, and initiatives linked directly to incident reduction, complaint management, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. The goal is to align providers and vendors around shared outcomes, create a repeatable mechanism for funding innovation, and build a culture of improvement that is visible, accountable, and scalable across sites.
Secure a time to connect with Qam during the conference.
